Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is a plant from the Apiaceae family that can grow to be 2m50 long and can be easily recognized thanks to it's strong aniseed smell and it's yellow flowers (photo). The wild carrot (Daucus carota) is a plant from the same family as above and is caracterized by pretty white flowers. Both species can be found along the paths if you keep your eyes open !
